Here is a secret worth sharing! Everyday driving to work we pass this gorgeous looking vintage boutique, tucked away in the edge of Kingsland. Unfortunately we have not yet had a chance to actually go in! So when we saw these images of the store inside we became more than excited. It is a real hidden treasure. The Bread & Butter Letter is a unique independent store owned by friends Sarah Firmston and Rose Howcroft; they opened their doors only 18 months ago. For many young designers running a store like this would be a dream come true. This fabulous duo stock hundreds of gorgeous handmade pieces, with a collection of accessories, stationary, one off prints and sketches, homeware, gifts and vintage clothing AND they also sell vintage things on behalf. So if you love “pretty” things, you needn’t look any further. Not only do these girls have a great eye for gorgeous trinkets, many of the items they stock are made by themselves under their label JAM. The Bread & Butter Letter is located at 66 New North Rd, Eden Terrace, Auckland. Have a look when you get the chance, we certainly will be!
