We were thrilled to see Cybele back on the runway. Her winter collection was an extensive range, producing the longest label show that we have ever been to. There is no other New Zealand designer that can create such easy flowing, flattering silk dresses. Her garments have a simplistic ease about them, whilst still embracing an element of structure, with panelling, flattering lines across the chest and inserted belts. Cybele used self designed and printed motifs throughout the range (her signature thing to do) and repeated them on bags. We particularly enjoyed the cobalt blue and black garments, just beautiful.
