Pantone tarts

These tarts have done the blogger world rounds we know, but they are just so incredible we had to share them for those who haven't seen.  Created by french foodie and colour enthusiast, Emilie from"Griottes". They are entirely edible tarts-but way to gorgeous to actually ever eat!

Food is a great inspiration for fashion.  They are both things we at HAWES & FREER love!

Trevor brought back a HUGE XL size bag of colourful m&ms back from Las Vegas, we are quite happily eating our way through them.

Kate Sylvester has opened a new store in Britomart

Zambesi has also relocated to Tyler Street

Twenty Seven Names have moved to a new workroom in Wellington

Sherie Muijs has a gorgeous new retail space in Room 228 on Jervois Road

Juliette Hogan has just launched her online store and her workroom has had a make over with a new collection coming soon...

So when you do get the chance, go have a look at all of our New Zealand designer's winter ranges and stores-especially Britomart, claimed to be the 'New High Street'. Fashion is such a fast pace industry, that is forever changing.  It reminds us of Heidi Klum's famous saying "In fashion one day you are in, and the next you are out!"

  This must be what heaven looks like!

Fabric markets, Ribbon, Button and  Leather scraps  stores in Sham Shui Po, Pottinger Street.  This is an insight to the life of Geneva from A Pair & a Spare-DIY Blogger.  She says...." I pinch myself everyday to have the good fortune of living in Hong Kong, a place so absolutely full of DIY supplies and materials.  It is perfect for someone as utterly obsessed with DIY as me! More and more my days revolve around visiting these places- and I couldn't be happier".  We are very jealous, mind you we too are surrounded by many of these wonderful things on a daily basis.  It is the love of these fashion products that keeps us all going!
