Paul Bloomfield SS12/13 Show

Had a great time at the Paul Blomfield PR & Showroom's hosted SS12/13 Show yesterday.

The team put on a fabulous afternoon at Kermedac in Auckland city with bubbles, conversation and of course fashion! 

The show included Kagi Jewellery, Canterbury of New Zealand, Ooby Ryn, Loobie's Story, Egoist, MisteR, MENA, Sheryl May and Olive and Tebe body care. It was great to see so much colour on the runway and to catch up with friends in the industry.

Nz Street Style via Four eyes.

Street style blogs Four eyes and Street And City Photos capture the latest fashion seen on the streets in NZ. Are we making enough effort? We had some visitors from overseas and they made a comment that New Zealand has some incredibly talented designers and a large range of unique clothes avaliable but who is wearing them? New Zealanders have always dressed with a cool but casual style-comfort in mind, unlike Europe and other parts of the world where every single female is wearing heels. Infact we have made the observation that in general men are alot smarter dressed than women. With the increased social media focus on what people are wearing, we feel that prehaps as a nation we need to up the anty with style and creativity. What is your view on NZ fashion? We would love to hear your opinions.

 Have you heard of this fabulous New Zealand Designer? She is an incredibly talented and hard working woman whom we know very well.  Her flash new website has just launched with a brand new collection called 'The Magician' Summer 2013.

The label Tara Cunniffe was launched in 2009. Her A/W 2010 collection was presented at Air New Zealand Fashion week and since then Tara has been busily working away on many projects, whilst working full time at Trelise Coper! 

Influenced by architecture and its relation to the art of construction; Tara's designs display her perception of fashion and structural design. Tara Cunniffe's garments are vibrant, intricate and exude an air of sophistication.
