New Products on the website!

Here are a few new things we have added this week.

1. Gorgeous new colours to our Florence Lining range: Tangerine, Rasberry and Mustard

2. Some adorable new Daisy Buttons, that can be dyed any colour!

3. Anchor buttons made from mother of pearl shell and laser engraved, would look fabulous on a black or navy jacket.

4.Some warm looking grey Cashmere Wool in the Primuluna range-pefect for a winter coat!

The Knit Kid

 

We have recently been looking up lots of gorgeous knitwear imagery for the winter and came across Sabrina Weigt from Berlin, Germany who is the designer of THE KNIT KID. 

She makes everything from knitted scarfs to coats, all handmade with luxurious fibres such as merino, silk, alpaca and mohair. Knitwear with a hint of colour and a feel-good factor is defiantly what you want in the wardrobe at the moment. Have a look at her etsy store here.

Whitecliffe Fashion Window displays

We went and had a look at the Whitecliffe College of Art & Design, Year 4 Fashion student's Window displays in Newmarket this week and were very impressed at the high standard and creativity.

These students come in to Hawes & Freer often to buy product, get their fusing done etc.! So we have seen and heard all the stress and hard work. It was lovely to see the end results.

The Winner was Erin Balle "Airborne" -(the aeroplanes) and runners up were Trish Peng "Sequence" -(the puzzles) and Eica Bryers "Gaia" (the flowers).

Other Students featured are: Katy Kelly, Sean Cai, Samantha Wainstein and Amy Cossan.
